| After years of experience I have found that pets (as much as I love them) don't mix that well with two-legged guests. One never knows if the chemistry will work, and therefore, regrettably, we will no longer be accepting pets. We do, however, have two resident felines on the property. They do not mix with the guests, but if you have questions about them, please inform us in advance. |

| Please talk to me in advance if you wish to bring children (kids are up to fifteen years of age). Because the Surgeon's House offers privacy and escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world - mixing adults seeking quiet with children's natural love of play may not make the ideal combination. However, if you wish to book all my rooms for a family reunion or multiple family or friend get together, children are more than welcome. |

Because I want you to have a stupendous visit, let me explain how we work . . . The kitchen opens each morning at 6:30 am for hot beverages. We DO NOT offer hot beverages in the evening, but all the eateries do, so you are all set . . . Enjoy breakfast buffet served at 8:30 a.m. in the dining room. If you have specific dietary needs, please discuss them with me at the time you make your reservation. I serve superior coffees, teas, and homemade cocoa. Hot beverages are available in the a.m. only. We want you to arrive as easily and effortlessly as possible. Since navigation in Jerome can be dicey, please print the map from your confirmation and bring it with you. We are pleased to greet you for check-in between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the red front door which faces my driveway and overlooks the Verde Valley. Check-in as early as 12:30 may be arranged in advance at an additional cost of $50. If you arrive after 6:00 p.m. or I am temporarily unavailable, you will find self check-in instructions on the parking area gate. Simply remove and read the contents of your envelope, and follow the self check-in map. When you check in, leave your luggage in your vehicle. I will show you the easy way to bring it in. If you park in my parking area before 4:00 p.m., please display your confirmation on the dash or other easily visible spot so I will know you are a guest. Parking is at a premium everywhere in Jerome, and fortunately, we have three inside and three outside spaces! Please fill the inside spaces first if they are available. Bathrooms are supplied with extra towels, toiletries, hair dryers and the like. If an iron, a wine glass, a bottle opener or anything else would make your stay more pleasant, just ask! Midnight snacks are on the kitchen counter and complimentary beverages are in the refrigerator. Maid and laundry service are available on request. We are not set up to offer cooking, food prep, assembly, or kitchen storage privileges. Rates do not include tax and gratuities and are based on 1 or 2 persons. My home is filled with beautiful objects that we hope enhance the comfort and enjoyment of your stay. Please treat them with the care and respect with which you would treat your own prized possessions. Any damage or loss of items for which you are responsible will be charged to your credit card. | ||

In-house Massage In-house massage is available by appointment - $95, depending on available therapist for an ample hour plus. Couple's massages are extraordinary and require ample advance scheduling - $125 per person for nearly two hours - and are done ensuite. |

Verde Canyon Excursion Train A trip on the Verde Canyon Railroad is also available. The four-hour scenic ride along the Verde River Canyon, aptly considered by many as Arizona's other Grand Canyon, takes you from past centuries, through a wildlife refuge, to a working ranch of today. |

Wedding Packages We are pleased to host weddings and receptions of up to 75 persons on our one acre property. Our lavish gardens and Inn are the perfect romantic setting for an amazing Jerome wedding with all of the Verde Valley as your panoramic backdrop! We have several options depending on the size of your gathering and your expectations so you may choose from two large garden yards, a mural patio, and a view veranda. With all options, you have exclusive use of the Inn and its grounds giving you a unique Jerome venue where you, your families, and friends can get to know each other in a relaxed at home atmosphere.
