You can gift a specific amount or a specific room. Our gift certificates last one year and we can send them by snail or e-mail to either you or the recipient. You can also use them as a donation to your favorite charity, because they are transferrable and may be re-gifted with no worries. As of November 20, 2011 and during the run of our Crimson and Copper Special, you can purchase a gift certificate at a 15% discount!

We are pleased to host weddings and receptions of up to 75 persons on our one acre property.    Our lavish gardens and Inn are the perfect romantic setting for an amazing Jerome wedding with all of the Verde Valley as your panoramic backdrop! We have several options depending on the size of your gathering and your expectations so you may choose from two large garden yards, a mural patio, and a view veranda.   With all options, you have exclusive use of the Inn and its grounds giving you a unique Jerome venue where you, your families, and friends can get to know each other in a relaxed at home atmosphere.   Click here to see our wedding page.

The Best Darned Cancellation Policy Under the Sun!

At The Surgeon's House you never pay for something you don't get! None of us ever intends to cancel, but sometimes we find ourselves in that situation. Let me explain my reservation and cancellation policy:
bullet Cancellations within 4 days of your scheduled arrival are charged full rate and a full duration of reservation to your credit card, AND you are issued a gift certificate that is tranferrable and lasts for a full year.  This is how we count - if your reservation is for the 20th and you call to cancel on the 16th (regardless of time of day), we subtract 16 from 20, and you are within the 4 day period. We will then have a gift certificate awaiting your next stay . . .Yea!

bullet HOLIDAYS/SPECIAL EVENTS CANCELLATION:
On the Holidays listed below we collect a $30 per night non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation. Cancellations within 14 days of your scheduled arrival are charged full rate and full duration of your reservation to your credit card, AND you are issued a gift certificate, less your deposit, that is transferable and lasts for a full year. Because we have had some uncertainty - this is how we count - if your reservation is for the 20th and you call to cancel on the 6th (regardless of time of day), we subtract 6 from 20, and you are within the 14 day period. We will then have a gift certificate awaiting your next stay . . . another Yea!

If you book all my accommodations, a $250 per night non-refundable deposit is required at the time you reserve. This amount is credited against your final bill at check out.

bullet If you simply don't show up, the full room rate will be charged.
bullet We really want you to use your gift certificate!

But, if you cancel or change a gift certificate reservation within the cancellation period (see above), the value of your gift certificate will be reduced by a $25 per-occurrence cancellation fee.

If you simply don't show up, your gift certificate will be considered redeemed.

If we extend your gift certificate past its expiration date, it cannot be redeemed on a Friday or Saturday night and it loses fifty percent of its value up to 18 months (six months after expiration); up to 24 months (twelve months after expiration date) it loses 75% of its value.
