Last week we experienced some really abrupt and ferocious winds coming down off the mountain.  Our guests staying in the Maid’s Suite Back mentioned over coffee that I might want to have a look, that they thought ‘a little limb’ might have fallen…

Are you kidding me?!? It was the diameter of a 4-yr old person’s body, and completely obscured the walkway to the mural area.  I figured this guest must work for the United Nations as a diplomat!  It missed our two apple and pear trees and landed squared on top of our young peach volunteer – oh dear.  Joshua and Triple M spent over 4 hours cleaning up this mess and made 3 trips to the burn pile.

The silver lining is that there is now nothing left on either of the two ancient paradise trees to ever fall out again.  The only remaining possible danger would be if either of the trees toppled completely. . .it’s always something; it’s never nothing!
