WINTER TREASURES

Here we are 3/4ths of our way through February and bracing for another burst of Old Man Winter. Two days ago was actually warm enough that we saw a few adventuresome honeybees out and about and now everyone is prepping for a dramatic cold dip and precipitation in the form of intermittent rain and snow. A welcomed drive by visit from grey fox was a surprise as we have not spied him in over one year.

Our beloved winter-blooming hellies are in the minority as they seem content with whatever winter has to offer.
