Opulent Breakfasts
Our bountiful epicurean breakfast buffet includes nine different offerings with players from all the food groups intended to satisfy and delight every guest. We really want to know in advance if you have special dietary choices or simple likes/dislikes so we can cater to you. Andrea has lots of tricks up her cooking sleeve that she hopes will bring a homerun of homemade bliss to your breakfast experience.

Dining & Kitchen Areas
The kitchen opens just after sunrise (as early as 6:30 am) for hot beverages – with superior coffees, teas, and homemade cocoa. Breakfast is served, buffet style, at 8:30 am in the main dining room. If your travel plans require an early departure, let us know the night before and we’ll have some wonderful sweetie, fruit, and hot bev ready for carry-out. Our zesty breakfast is prepared to delight and surprise you, using whatever looks good and fresh from the market and recipes from Andrea’s cookbook, “The Evolving Morsel”.

Sweet & Savory Snacks
You have finally arrived on our coconut island in the sky for your much-needed respite and you want to explore the gardens. How about something sweet or savory and a glass of fresh Jerome spring-fed water or your chosen beverage to support your stroll? Or you just want to visit in the kitchen and kibbutz! Back from a high time in town and have the munchies? Jump on in there! Everything is homemade and you will soon discover that the brownies are famous around town. Help yourselves and leave the dirty dishes for us.

Cook’s Choice Appetizers
Wouldn’t it be wonderful, especially if your plans allow for only a one-night stay, to settle in and have an over-the-top spread of appetizers and an adult beverage served en suite, on your private balcony or patio, or in one of the garden or common areas? No real need to venture out and nothing to do—just ‘be’, refresh and regenerate. Please give us one week’s notice so we may be perfectly prepared to envelop you with nurturing deliciousness.

The Evolving Morsel
Inspired by my mother’s horror at my handwriting, in 1994 “The Resourceful Morsel” came into being as a way of sharing recipes that weren’t written in my indecipherable script. Since then, we have printed two additional editions before we were dragged kicking and screaming out of the Neanderthal era. We now offer the combined tome as “The Evolving Morsel” – about 250 recipes replete with all of Kim Smerek’s original artwork from the first three hardcopy editions. We add to it each holiday season and we are always available to answer last-minute questions for tweaks or substitutions. Tease yourself and go take a peak at a couple of them. You might enjoy it . . . !
