Christmas Eve at The Surgeon’s House found us replete with equal parts fun, silliness, relaxation, magnificent company, and good eats to match!

“. . . and bonbons mixed in my path like mad!” Robert Browning said it all and we are taking him at his word. At least one (or ten) have YOUR name on them so get on up here.

Gobble Day 2024 packed the house with some of our beloved kindreds Michelle & Bret Zahn, Ella & Lucas Brand, and Doc Rog & entourage along with the grace of a couple of neighbors, Mark and John, and some new treasured attendees who we hope will become regulars.

Now that you have seen us decorated on the outside, step on in to experience the mischief the ‘all grown up Eloise’ and her helpers have been up to on the inside.

Joshua completely revamped and regenerated our outside lighting display and the test drive proved phenomenal. And isn’t he making quite the short-pant, white socks, and slippers fashion statement?

This year TSH elves have outdone themselves under the artful direction of our chief decorating poohbah, Alysa. Come join us with some new, fun touches inside and out!

And guess who is on her way to jumpstart our holiday decorating extravaganza? None other than our own DONNA DAVIS who is rallying all hands on-deck beginning now to transform us into a veritable treasure trove of Fulfillment, Joy & Security with a sizeable side order of whimsy & fun.

For the Seasons’ Eatings dinner in honour of all those who have served and continue to serve us, we pulled out all the stops in terms of fun, good eats, and reverence on this last Memorial Day.

Somehow as much as we prepare, the REAL holiday decorating effort beginning with Donna’s arrival from Livermore CA, is always a flurry and a blur.

Today we donned our baking gear as we look forward to treating you with all manner of goodies. How about some Only Dave Knows Cookies or a Kahlua vodka cupcake?

Most of you might not believe it but we have been thinking about, talking about, conceptualizing, and prepping for the Forevermore 2023 holiday since the beginning of AUGUST – Can that be true? Take a look as a sneak preview.

Here we were in the middle of what should be monsoon season and yearning for rain, so sure enough it came in torrents on the day of our Labour Day Seasons’ Eatings picnic.

Our first Seasons’ Eatings picnic celebrating July 4th was a rousing success complete with croquet, a modicum of badminton, specialty-crafted OH-MY-GOODNESS sangrias, and an overflowing abundance of silly-good food and even-silliergood company.

We are so excited about the Seasons’ Eatings from Christmas Eve and then again on Christmas Day, we simply had to share some glimpses of the festivities and the blessings of relaxing in our fun fluffy-slippers way!

Thanksgiving 2022 was the maiden voyage of resurrecting Seasons’ Eatings from over 20 years ago and it was a marvelous and fun-filled night.
