2024 MEMORIAL DAY: WITH REVERENT HEART AND GRATITUDE, WE CELEBRATED!

For the Seasons’ Eatings dinner in honour of all those who have served and continue to serve us, we pulled out all the stops in terms of fun, good eats, and reverence on this last Memorial Day. The menu evolved in an instant conversation with Capt. Allen, Alysa, and me to be a blow-out Mexican extravaganza.

We surprised ourselves actually and the more we got into it, the more fun fun fun prevailed.

Appies began around 4 pm filtering from the dining room into the garden on a picture-perfect day.

We rounded out the relaxed tummy-stuffing with everyone agreeing that the homemade sopapillas topped with our honey butter, powdered sugar and cinnamon & sugar took first prize!
