COME ONE! COME ALL! TO TSH SUMMER CIRCUS

Our hot and dry August 2026 has the one UPSIDE of attracting a wide menagerie of our local critters each night. While the leftovers are surely a draw, I wager the watering hole is more important to everyone’s wellbeing. Here is our latest cast of suspects including a very courageous and strong mama raccoon raising what we have now confirmed is a tribe of FOUR youngsters . . .

This little guy is making a first appearance this year.

Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal visiting even just at dusk.

One at a time the raccoon babies summon the courage to venture out but always sticking close to mom and to each other while learning the ropes of raccoon-living. And finally our tentative doe making a reassuring long overdue appearance – yay!
