TSH REC CENTER MAKEOVER

Did you even know that TSH offers a Rec Center & Lounge for Helpers Only? Well, we don’t really but that is the sign we put on the garden garage before we knew it was going to be the Capt.’s new digs. No real reason to remove it as I escape there sometimes for my 1/2-hour vacation when he is absent. After four years we felt the outside patio area, which is often mistaken by tourists as a café or coffee shop, deserved a little makeover beginning with some long-due curb appeal work by Kirt.

As a sweet aside, look at the volunteer snap dragon that had chosen a solitary home towards the back of the side wall. We gently moved her for a place of more prominence when we refresh the pots. We shall be excitedly awaiting her RE-bloom.

Next we planned our revamp which included use of the original cast iron storm grate that we removed during reconstruction. Hanging the Capt.’s grill light is our last task. Much improved we’re thinking.
