WE BEE SAFELY HAPPENING — YAY!

Our two new bee baby colonies under the auspicious leaderships of Queen Stella and Queen Vanessa appear to be busy foraging, building stores and coming and going to beat the band with bulky pollen panties. A great portend for their healthy survival, for a great honey production, and hopefully ‘robbery’ of some exquisite honey later this year – fingers crossed.

Given my past proclivity for being Miss Tumblelina falling down, Joshua leapt into service for me so their queen beekeeper could safely tend and communicate with our ladies and their entourage of drones. Take a look at what he constructed and how divinely I can safely traverse. One hundred shouts of GRATITUDE to the universe for safe passage to my sweethearts . . .

We even have a comfy observation post from which we can observe and commune with both colonies – yay!

We were feeling so full of ourselves that the Capt. (always acting foolish) did a little regular policing of our born-again faux mosaic and Joshua had a rather stern word with the grand old gramma who was working some roof shenanigans on the Master Suite balcony . . . NO-NO gramma! She had actually yanked her arbor and a portion of the wood topper under the roof tiles 1 & 1/2 feet away FROM THE ROOF!

Again, for everyone’s safety, we hosed down the balcony before AND AFTER welding.
