A SECRET & MYSTERIOUS INTERLUDE

Today revealed to us one of the incredible serendipities graced to us by the Earth Mother. On his way to perform an unrelated other task, Joshua’s attention was grabbed by a veritable DIN of buzzing. At first he thought one of the bee baby hives had swarmed but then he looked up into the weeping cherry tree that had just burst into bloom today and guess what? It was ALIVE AND ENGULFED with our honeybees diving into the blossoms and loading themselves by filling their pollen panties. As admirable of a job as Joshua did to capture the momentous harvest, he claims it left him breathless. We wanted to share the bounty of the Earth Mother’s divine balance at its finest and best on this spectacular spring day.  Find the pollen panties on the girls’ legs – they look like bulging yellow saddlebags.  They were so big it nearly affected their aerodynamics!

And not a moment too soon did the girls forage as the winds kicked up abruptly today to top 55 mph which mightily shook our dear weeping cherry and everything else. We shall see tomorrow how many blossoms survived. Aren’t we glad the girls made hay while the sun shined . . .?
