LUMINOUS – A WILD & PRECIOUS LIFE

This summer’s blooms have not been as spectacular and prolific as years past so when we are given a show-stopper like this dahlia it truly gets our attention.

It brings to mind the last lines of Mary Oliver’s poem The Summer Day, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

For me personally, would that I could show up as beautifully as this dahlia for my ONE WILD & PRECIOUS LIFE with each breath . . .
