SPRUCING UP IN AND OUT

This week presented us with a perfect opportunity to make some fashionable and safety improvements. Two months ago, heavy rains found their way through the Master Suite balcony then down onto and into the front atrium ceiling, leaving us with significant water stains. Who would imagine that not all white paint is created equal? It took Joshua FIVE COATS of paint to cover the damage before we were satisfied with the results.

Once again safety was brought to the forefront of our attention on the backstairs by the garage. We noticed guests grabbing a back door molien in the broken garage window ascending the stairs and then steadying themselves at the turn to the back door by reaching for the retaining wall. The broken molien could have given way at any time and there was no handrail or grab bar on the retaining wall. Joshua made snappy work of fabricating simple remedies for both – yay!
