WE LOVE THE MONSOONS

We haven’t experienced a real monsoon season in more than a few years but recently we were breaking records and always surprising oopsies are revealed. This time somewhere on the Master Suite balcony torrential rainwater found its way into the atrium ceiling, loosening the drywall that we have repaired and replaced in the past. What a mess.

We decided to take alternate path to a hopefully more permanent repair by applying a coat of stucco rather than drywall, then a coat of waterproofing and hoping for the best outcome.

In the meantime, it was clean up and drying time in preparation to repaint.

All better and nothing to look at here folks.
