And the beat goes on in maintaining this old ponderosa. We discovered. We scraped. We stuccoed.
For the front porch, next we will tackle the Master balcony lip with the same scraping, stuccoing, repainting process before we replace the lattice.
Then we went on to the upper pond pump replacement . . . We drained. We cleaned. We assembled. Working quickly was a paramount imperative as the lowered water depth makes the koi very nervous in addition to severely diminishing their water oxygen content and ratio. Note, having donned fish swim trunks and galoshes, Joshua cuts a wide swath as such the fish fashion-horse, eh?
And we think ????? we ultimately PREVAILED, TESTED & CONQUERED!
While we never invite or relish pond mishaps, Joshua is pretty tickled about trying his snappy new outfit!
It truly must must must be that spring is springing since for the first time this season we enjoyed the luxury of opening our back dutch door – yay! Come give us a neighborly lean-in! Fi, vino, and I are waiting for you.
