RATHER THAN MICE & MEN, WE COTTON TO OF DUCKS & GOATS!

Of the nearly incalculable blessings, magic, and FUN we enjoy at The Surgeon’s House, serving duck eggs, homemade goat cheese and goat yoghurt rank pretty stinking high. They take a second only to knowing the two couples who are responsible for these fine creatures and the delicious fruits of their husbandry. We wanted you to meet Nicole & Wyatt who tend their flock of Ducky Dopamine characters – AND – Camille & Brian whose farm-ette is the home to their herd of goats, turkeys, and peacocks and where Camille works her alchemy in fresh goat cheese and goat yoghurt – Kefir too if you are counting her accomplishments. Here is a behind-the- scenes look at these beautiful creatures, their digs, how they are treated and fed, and, most importantly, their tenders.  Let me introduce Nicole and Wyatt and quacker crew . . .

Nestled at the base of our mountain right outside of Clarkdale, Camille and Brian have created a little slice of homegrown paradise.

There is no question in my mind that happy and healthy critters treated with tender loving watchcare is Nirvana. We are so tickled and gratified to know these folks and share their abundance with TSH guests!
