Even though it seems Mother Nature always wins, we remain vigilant in our attempts to keep the rain outside where it belongs. With each hard downpour, the garage roof continues to pose maintenance issues in the garage proper and in the garden garage loft studio apartment.

While we can easily see where the leaks present themselves inside, it can be a crap shoot as to the exact entry locations. There are actually 3 different roofs and all at varying elevations making each seam vulnerable. So, our approach is to simply recoat and seal every seam and then again roll sealing paint over the entire surface. We don’t want to guess how many times Joshua has assaulted this challenge but this time he had some able assistance again from neighbor Bree.
