PASSION & MORE POPPING AT TSH!
Mother Nature always wins out on Her terms and never more evident than with our hit-and-miss success or lack thereof with our passionflower vines and our attempts to transplant wild penstemon. This season in the mural patio the passionflower blossoms RULE.
Even if we fail at transplanting the various wild varieties of penstemon and thistles, we found resplendent croppings along the UVX Road so we graced our table.
We adore it when we share gardens with guests so that a little of us is with them and vice versa. Phillip and Andrew of wood working fame and commonly known to us as ‘the gents’ gifted us iris bulbs from their Phoenix gardens and the first one showed up in the Chauffeur’s Quarters window boxes – absolutely glorious and thanks to P&A.
While we appreciate all opportunities to share with the Earth Mother, some are perhaps a little more appreciated than others. Recently, we ‘enjoyed?’ the presence of senor LePew setting up housekeeping under the honey shack and a darling feathered person that we can’t identify. I guess we take them one-and-all, right?
