SUMMER HAPS AT TSH

The latest word from Katie and Mike at Painless Stitches indicates they will make their first furniture pick up in the middle of July so the Capt. continues to plow his way through the pieces of outside furniture that need repair and repainting. Looking at the before and after shots reminds us of how spectacular this will be once it is competed.

The chaise lounges on the Master Suite balcony are among the original ones commissioned for TSH and they are heavy as can be. Savannah pitched in to help the Capt. put them on the other side of the parapet wall for sanding and repainting.

. . . and the last vino break finale.

A long-awaited blessing manifested this week with the acquisition of three new honeybee colonies from Roy the bee guy down near Lake Pleasant. The nucs were heavy with larvae and community members and as always, Joshua and Roy inspected each one to identify a large, healthy, and hopefully incredibly fertile queen. Let’s intend these beautiful and GENTLE newcomers to our coconut island get busy foraging and building while the queens start laying like gangbusters! Welcome our new queens Ophelia, Lucy, and Brigitte and all their helpers!

This is truly presenting itself as a phenomenal and luminous rose season. These beauties grow configured to actually make their own bouquets.

And who can resist the annual visit from the volunteer daturas?
