PIES, PEPPERS & PIPES — WHAT MORE COULD THERE BE?

What more could there be you ask? How about sweet peas, daffies & narcissus regaling the dining room, volunteer kale, peppers, The Youngster as always 4-6 weeks ahead of the Grand Old Gramma, and a breakfast offering of a homemade deep dish chicken potpie . . .

While we are in the “P” section of the alphabet, we finally took the necessary steps to install a long overdue upgrade to the horizontal pipe that connects the lower and upper skimmers in the upper pond in the form of a value. That valve will allow us to more effectively flush that pipe when debris from winter clogs it which then obstructs the flow from the waterfall and affects the oxygen saturation in the upper pond – wow that was a mouthful of a sentence!
