ROLLING INTO JUNE!

As difficult as it is to believe, here we find ourselves rolling right into the halfway mark of this year – can that even be possible? This month is revealing all varieties of Mother Nature’s splendors and wonders. Aren’t these little guys just soooooo stinking cute for about ONE MINUTE?

Speaking of ‘stinking’ cute, this appears to be another youngster perhaps progeny of the stinker that seems to have set up housekeeping under the honey shack.

Not to be outdone, our honeybees are busy with the zinnias and the nasturtiums that are overflowing the Chauffeur’s Quarters raised beds and tumbling down the garage roof.

Our spiders are helping the ponds by creating their lairs above the ponds to capture their ‘larder’ thereby cutting down on stuff falling into the ponds. Each one of those dots on the web is a tiny insect they have caught. Amazing, no?

And finally, the crème de le crème for the first time this season, a youngster buck (notice the beginnings of this horn nubbins) wetting his whistle just moments before Joshua showed up this morning. We are hoping he returns and brings his friends. All-in-all, our hats are off to what June is bringing to the table!
